There will still be no Club this Thursday Sept 9th, even though we are now at level 2. Badminton Wellington is finalising details with Badminton NZ and Sport Wgtn this week and hopefully The Hall will be open next week.
The restrictions for level 2 are tighter than last year – numbers are limited to 50 people, which includes staff, the number of courts are reduced and there is the social distancing and wearing of masks off court (but not while you play).
Please note that if we start up again on the 16th, it will be for Club members only – no casual players will be allowed due to the restricted numbers. If you know casual players who have been attending our Club nights, please advise them of this – there will be no exceptions until the restrictions change.
We have our Club Champs scheduled for Saturday 25 Sept. We are not sure if this will go ahead on that day. We may be able to extend our Club nights for another 2-3 weeks after 21 Oct and run the Club Champs sometime in October.
